EXPLANATION.

Graph of the linear equations.

⇒ 2x - 3y = 5. - - - - - (1).

⇒ 3x + 4y = -1. - - - - - (2).

⇒ y = 2. - - - - - (3).

As we know that,

From equation (1), we get.

⇒ 2x - 3y = 5. - - - - - (1).

Put the value of x = 0 in equation, we get.

⇒ 2(0) - 3y = 5.

⇒ - 3y = 5.

⇒ y = -5/3.

⇒ y = -1.66.

Their Co-ordinates = (0,-1.66).

Put the value of y = 0 in equation, we get.

⇒ 2x - 3(0) = 5.

⇒ 2x = 5.

⇒ x = 5/2.

⇒ x = 2.5.

Their Co-ordinates = (2.5,0).

From equation (2), we get.

⇒ 3x + 4y = -1. - - - - - (2).

Put the value of x = 0 in equation, we get.

⇒ 3(0) + 4y = -1.

⇒ 4y = -1.

⇒ y = -1/4.

⇒ y = -0.25.

Their Co-ordinates = (0,-0.25).

Put the value of y = 0 in equation, we get.

⇒ 3x + 4(0) = -1.

⇒ 3x = -1.

⇒ x = -1/3.

⇒ x = -0.33.

Their Co-ordinates = (-0.33,0).

From equation (3), we get.

⇒ y = 2.

Curves intersects at a point = (-3,2) & (5.5,2) & (1,-1).
