For a linear equation solve the equation for any two points and on a graph draw a line through those points.

Explanation:

Often two convenient points to evaluate for a linear equation are the x and y intercepts.

For the equation

4 x + 3y = 12

the x intercept ( y = 0 ) is at  ( 3 , 0 )  and the y intercept ( x \= 0 ) is at  ( 0 , 4 )

First take the value 4x + 3y= 12

take a number for value x take this number 3

formula is (x, y) 4(3) +3y= 12

12+ 3y = 12

3y = 12 - 12 => 3y= 0

so therefore, (x,y) =(3,0).....
