Properties of magnetic field lines are as follows :-

1.)They originate from North pole to South pole outside the magnate and south pole to North pole inside the magnate.

2.)These lines are closed and continues curve.

3.)Two magnetic lines never intersect.

4.)These lines are continuously moving.

A magnetic field lines is an imaginary curve along which a free unit north pole tends to move.Magnetic field lines always starts from north pole and end on south poleThe tangent to the magnetic field lines at any point gives the direction of magnetic field at that point. Two magnetic field lines never intersect each other. It is vector quantity. They always form closed loops.Magnetic field lines passing through unit area around a point w.r.t. the strength of the magnetic field at that point is called Magnetic flux density.ORMagnetic field lines are representation of magnetic field.Magnetic field lines forms closed loops. They contact laterally. They behave like stretched elastic rubber strings.Magnetic fields lines always form closed loops.Magnetic field lines do not intersect each other.More the number of magnetic field lines, more strong in the magnetic field.
