  • Draw a line segment XY of measure 10.3 cm.
  • From point X draw an arc of any measure more than half of the line segment on both the sides of the line segment.
  • With the same measure Draw arcs on both the sides of the line segment from point Y.
  • Draw an arc on both the sides of the line segment from point Y.Join the points where the arcs meet each other.
