Draw a ray diagram to find the image if an object is kept at 8 cm distance from the pole on the principal axis of convex mirror

Answer:

Let us assume that the focal length of the concave mirror is 20 cm.

therefore the centre of curvature is 2*FP

                                                           2*20= 40 CM.

Let us draw two rays and define the image. The first rays which passes is parallel to the principle axis and it gets reflected through the focal length. The second ray aims at the intersection of the principle axis of the mirror. As we notice that the two rays divert away from the real image. Our eyes can see a virtual image is magnified where the rays appear behind ere the he mirror where the image basically gets converged.
