Solution:-

In geometry, a rectangle is a quadrilateral figure whose two opposite sides are parallel and equal to each other in such a way that the two adjacent sides form a angle of 90°. It contains a total of four right angles. The diagonals of a rectangle bisect each other and divides a rectangle into two equal triangle.

Let's take the length of a rectangle be 4cm ad breadth be 9cm.

Now, we can divide the breadth in 3 cm and 6 cm.

Then we draw a straight line from 3 cm to the opposite side of the rectangle.

Then we can draw a diagonal to the rectangle with length = 4 cm and breadth = 6 cm such that two triangle are formed.

Hence, we have divided a rectangle into a rectangle and two equal triangles using two straight lines.
