heya mate
here is ur answer

♢ His model has not explained the stability of an atom .
♢ Inability to explain the line spectra of elements
♢ Could not explain the distribution of energy in the electrons amd distribution of neutrons around the nucleus

hope it helps

Heya!!

Here's your answer!!!

It fails to explain the stability of the atom: According to laws of physics, the electron, while moving around the nucleus, will get continuously accelerated and a charged particles like electron will slow down and move closer and closer to the nucleus with each other rotation and finally would spiral into the nucleus. This would result in the collapse of the atom. calculation show that this would happen in only 10⁸ second. Fortunately, atoms do not follow this behaviour and that Rutherford's model fails to explain the stability of the atom.
