Hi buddy

Here is your answer

Drawbacks of Rutherford's Model of an Atom

Drawbacks of Rutherford's Model of an AtomRutherford's atomic model could not explain how the moving electrons could remain in its orbit. Any charged particle during acceleration would give out energy; and while revolving it would lose energy and eventually fall into the nucleus.

Hope it help you

The radiation of energy would result in the electron losing energy and finally collide with the nucleus. This would mean that the atom would become highly unstable. Rutherford failed to explain this in his atomic model.
