Kinetic energy is a scalar quantity like other forms of energies. Consider a body of mass "m" starts moving from rest. After a time interval "t" its velocity becomes V. Expression for K.E - KINETIC ENERGY-K.E = 1 \div 2m {v}^{2}

✓✓Drive an expression for kinetic energy.

\sf\star\bold\purple{{ANSWER:-}}

Let us considered a block of mass M kept at rest on a friction less surface .

let constant F applied on a block.

The work done on the Block by the force (f) is,

\sf\:W=f×s

\sf\:=m×a×s-----------------------(i)

\sf\implies\:{v}^{2}={u}^{2}+2as

\sf\implies\:{v}^{2}={0}^{2}+2as

\sf\implies\:{v}^{2}=2as

\sf\implies\:a=\dfrac{v^2}{2as}-------------------(ii)

\sf\: From\:eq\:(i)\:and\:(ii)

\sf\:=m×\dfrac{v^2}{2s}×s

\sf\:=\dfrac{1}{2}m{v}^{2}

\sf\boxed{\sf\therefore\:W=KE=\dfrac{1}{2}m{v}^{2}}
