Answer:

The presence of starch in leaves can be tested by the Iodine test. When we remove chlorophyll from the leaf by boiling it in alcohol and then put two drops of iodine solution, it is colour change to blue indicates the presence of starch.

Explanation:

first dip the leaf in hot water (kills all cells and prevents any other reactions from taking place)then in hot ethanol (opens the cell wall) later put some drops of iodine onto it if it changes to a golden color then there is starch i will upload my bio textbook
