Dear Rishab:
I hope this letter finds you and your family in good fettle. I also hope the wedding festivities are in full swing at your home! First and foremost CONGRATULATIONS for your brother’s wedding. Thanks a ton for the beautiful invitation and the delicious sweets. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend such a much awaited occasion. As you already know Vishakhapatnam has been hit by a cyclone. The Government advisory is to remain confined within homes until it subsides. My house is not exactly near the coast. So we have not been evacuated. However, the weather throughout the city is very turbulent. No means of transport are allowed. The meteorological department has predicted no respite in the coming two days. So I won’t be able to attend the much-coveted event. I hope you will understand my situation. However, immediately after the normalcy returns, I will come to see you and the new couple. The rest is fine. Do once again accept my warmest wishes for the happy occasion. Warmest regards to dear uncle and aunt.
