 \tt{\huge{\orange {Hello!!! }}} B.Q

QUESTION :

due to application of brakes decor comes to rwst in 5 seconds having initial velocity 10 minute per seconds find its retardation.

SOLUTION :

U = 10 m / s^2

U = 10 m / s^2V = 0 m / s^2

T = 5 Seconds.

According to First equation of motion :

V = u + at

=> 0 = 10 + 5a

=> a = -2 m/s^2

So the retardation of the vehicle is 2 m/s^2.

Other equations of motion :

V^2 = U^2 + 2 as

S = ut + 1/2 a t^2
