Yes because,

If a solid is heated it usually melts and turns into liquid and same with conversion of liquid to gas etc.

*color change is an indicator that a chemical change happened .

Examples for both are:

State : when you keep a glass of water in refrigerator and remove after long time it is seen in solid state(ice) , you may be thinking it just changed it’s state and it can be reversed so it is a physical change , but the point is that , physical change is not the formation of new substance,it is only changing of shape and size etc. here liquid water changed into solid ice changing into new substance ,thus it is a chemical change.

For color change: rusting , silver coloured shiny metal turns into reddish-brown hard substance when it is in contact with moisture.
