During a drought, the prices of grain, fruit and vegetable go up. Why do you think this happen? Do you expect the prices of grain, fruit and vegetable to go up during floods also? Why?

it happens because of scarcity of goods ...
(1) yes during flood also it happens...
(2) because flood causes so much destruction so there is again scarcity of goods
