Given,

C.P of a Jean = ₹850

Discount = 10% on each item

Discount prize = ₹850 × 10

100

= ₹85

S.P = C.P -- discount prize

= 850 -- 85

= ₹765

Cost of 2 Jeans = ₹765 + ₹765

= ₹1530

Answer:

For a pair of jeans

Marked price =Rs.1450

Discount =10% of Rs.1450

=

100

10

×1450

=Rs.145

∴ Sale price =1450−145

=Rs.1305

For two shirts

Marked price =(Rs.850)×2=Rs.1700

Discount =10% of Rs.1700

=

100

10

×1700

=Rs.170

∴ Sale price =1700−170

=Rs.1530

Total sale price =1305+1530

=Rs.2835

Thus, the customer would have to pay Rs.2835
