During an experiment students were asked to prepare 20%(mass/mass) of the solution of sodium chloride in water .Rahul dissolved 20 gm of salt in 100gm of water while rema prepared it by dissolving 20 gm of salt in 80gm of water .
A)Who prepared the correct solution.why?

(b) In the solution prepared by Rahul,

Mass of salt = 10 g

Mass of solution = (100 + 10) g.

Mass percentage of salt = (10g)(110g)×100=9.09%

In the solution prepared by Priya, Mass of salt = 10 g

Mass of solution = 100 g

Mass percentage of salt = (10g)(100g)×100=10%

(c ) The measurements made by Priya are correct.
