During change of state: (i) Is there a rise in temperature of the material on healing
it? and (ii) What happens to the heat we supply?​

Answer:

The heat supplied is used to overcome the intermolecular force of attraction for changing the state. This is also known as Latent heat. So, the heat applied helps in changing the state and doesn't raise the temperature of the material.
