Answer:

Highest Salary = 10 Lakhs

Lowest salary = 5 Lakhs

Step-by-step explanation:

Let say salary of 5 Vice Presidents in ascending orders are

A , B  , C  , D  , E

Median is C

& Median = 8 Lakhs

=> C = 8 Lakhs

only median id 10 Lakhs  so 10 lakhs should be atleast two times

=> D & E = 10 Lakhs

Hence Highest Salary = 10 Lakhs

Mean = 8 Lakhs

=> Total Salary = 5 * 8 = 40 Lakhs

A + B + C + D + E = 40

=> A + B + 8 + 10 + 10 = 40

=> A + B = 12

as 10 lakhs is only mode so A & B can not be equal to 6

and A & B to be less than 8

so only possibility is A & B = 5  & 7

then Lowest salary = 5 Lakhs  ( considering integral values)
