⏺️ During electrolysis a electrolyte is decomposed into positive and negative ions.
⏺️Positive ions are attracted to cathode(negative electrode),accept electron from cathode and become neutral in charge
⏺️While negative ions migrate towards anode(positive electrode),lose electron and become neutral .
