Why the colour of ocean seems to be blue ..??

The ocean is blue because waterabsorbs colors in the red part of the light spectrum. Like a filter, this leaves behind colors in the blue part of the light spectrum for us to see. Theocean may also take on green, red, or other hues as light bounces off of floating sediments and particles in thewater.

Other is that the red, orange, yellow, and green wavelengths of light are absorbed so the remaining light seen is composed of the shorter wavelength blues and violets. This is the main reason the ocean's color is blue.
