During the dispersion of white light through the glass prism,red colour bends minimum towards the base.why?

Wavelength is inversely proportional tothe deviation in the path of the light.Red light suffers the least amount of deviation and violet the most. When awhite light is made to pass through aprism, formation of a spectrum of seven colors occurs showing white light is a combination of seven separate colors.

Coz the colours which come from dispersion of light , depends on the depends on light . That's why we see red as the first colour during dispersion
