The half yearly exams does'nt matter, here i'm talking about board exams and in other classes also half yearly is not important only finals are important.
But in this scenario, you have to make sure that your english test should be a great one.

During the half yearly exam i prepared for English test on the day when it was a mathematic test i realise your mistake when I will in inside my examination hall express my feeling I will not worry and practise for next well and also check 2 times the routine of examination. It was only half yearly examination but in yearly I cannot do this type of mistake.....
