Our school celebrated the Dussehra Festival on 5th October 2019 in school premise. The festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm. The program was heralded with the felicitation by our honorable guest Mr Arvind Kejriwal, our Chief Minister.
The program began with Dussehra drama and was followed by various activities and games. Dussehra Drama was played by Class 11th students. The play was a rendition of Ramayana with a message of hope and victory of light over darkness. The activities of dancing and singing was organized by 12th class students. There were many people students and teachers who participated in the activity but as all competition has three winners, we also had winners who showcased their hidden talents in singing and dancing.
The winners of the singing competition was our respected teacher Miss Vijayalaxmi, Prateek from 8th Grade, and Sonam from 9th Grade, respectively. The winners of dancing competition were Neha, our vice head girl; Ashok, from 6th Grade, and Pratyush, from 7th Grade.
Then the program was followed by several games, in which many teachers and students participated and it came to an end with dinner.
