Dylan recently started a high end dog biscuit bakery. She found a storefront location for her store that cost her $36,000 and on the ingredients for her dog biscuits (a super secret recipe) cost $1.10 per biscuit. If she plans on selling the dog biscuits for $7.50 a piece, how many biscuits will she have to sell before she breaks even? Enter a whole number. Do not include any units in the answer. For example if 253 biscuits must be sold, enter 253.

Answer:

5625

Step-by-step explanation:

Cost to find Store Location = $36000

Cost Per Biscuit = $ 1.1

Selling Price Per Biscuit = $ 7.5

Let say After selling B biscuits she get break Even

=> 7.5B = 1.1B + 36000

=> 6.4B = 36000

=> B = 5625

5625 biscuits  must be sold before she breaks even
