→ One executive power of president

• The President of the Indian Union will be generally bound by the advice of his Ministers.He can do nothing contrary to their advice nor can do anything without their advice.

→ One Judicial power of president

• The president appoints the chief justice of India and other judges on the advice of chief justice

★ When can the president declare an emergency ? ★

→ The president of India can declare an emergency only when " the life of the nation is threatened by war, disorder , natural disaster or other public emergency. He also can declare emergency when ordinary laws and government powers are not sufficient to maintain peace .

→Memebers of Lok Sabha are elected by Adult Universal Suffrage. Their qualifications are:
