E is any point on the median AD of ∆ABC. Show that ar (∆ABE) = ar(∆ACE).

Here ar(ΔBED) = ar(ΔCED) because they have same base BD= CD , DE is common , and ∠ BDE=∠CDE=90°
ar(ΔABD) = ar(ΔADC) as BD=CD , AD=AD , and ∠ BDA=∠CDA=90°
Now subtract ar(ΔBED) and ar(ΔCED) from ar(ΔABD) And ar(ΔADC).
U will get ar(ΔABE) = ar(ΔACE).
