Many things affect the camel. The dryness of the desert might affect us all, but it doesn't affect the camel due to its adaptation. Whenever it finds an oasis, it drinks as much water as it can and stores it in its hump. Even if we drink that much water, we could only survive for a few hours. But how do camels keep it for one week? They do not sweat at all. But we, on the other hand, sweat very much to maintain our body temperature. Camels also drink water from cacti, since cacti store water in themselves. So, these are just a few adaptations that camels have to survive in the desert successfully.
