Proof:

Dimensions of Left Hand side (Energy) = [M L² T⁻²]

Dimensions of Mass = [M]

Dimensions of Speed of light = [L T⁻¹], and c² = [L² T⁻²]

Hence, Dimensions of Right Hand Side = [M] x [L² T⁻²] = [M L² T⁻²],

which is equal to the dimensions of Left Hand Side, and hence, satisfies the Principle of Homogeneity. So, it is dimensionally correct.
