Density = Mass/Volume
In S.I Units, Density = kg/m3
In CGS Units, Density = g/cm3
= 10-3kg/10-6m3
= 103kg/m3
Hence if density is given in S.I Units then multiply its value by 103 to get its value in CGS Units.
Example: Density of water in S.I Units is 1kg/m3 and in CGS Units is 1000g/cm3.
