Each crate of apples consists of 4layers of apples.Each layer consists of 5 rows which has 6 apples each. It was decided that new types of crates which could accomodate 5 layers of apples with 5 rows in each layers but only 5 apples each row would be used for packing what is the percentage reduction in the no. Of crates used for packing?

Total apple's in first crate=5*4*6

=120.

And in the second =5*5*5

=125.

Reduction in apples in percentage=[120*(125-120)]/100=6%

so every crate need 6% extra apples compare to first crate.
