Each day tide delayed by 26 minutes because the moon also rotates on its axis while revolving around the earth.
•Every tide occurs after every 12 hours 26 minutes.

Cze, moon rotated on it's axis from West to East around the earth and so the earth itself. When the tidal centre completes one round the moon's position is already ahead of it and the tidal centre takes another 52 mins to come under moon so every day the two tides occur at interval of 12 hours and 26 mins.
