From given, we have,

The word SUCCESS has 7 letters

Therefore, the sample space = 7

a) N ( the letter S ) = 3

⇒ The probability that the card bears the letter 'S', P = 3 / 7

b) N ( a vowel ) = 2

⇒ The probability that the card bears a vowel,  P = 2 / 7

c) N ( the letter A ) = 0  

⇒ The probability that the card bears letter 'A',  P = 0 / 7 = 0
