Given - Each of the two equal angles of an isosceles triangle is twice the third angle

Find - The angles

Solution - As per the fact, the sum of all angles of triangle is 180°. Also, the two angles of isosceles triangle are equal.

Let the angle be x. So, the mathematical expression will be -

2x + 2x + x = 180°

5x = 180°

x = 36°

The two same angles of isosceles triangle = 2x

Two same angles = 2*36°

Two same angles = 72°

Angle of isosceles triangle = x

Angle of isosceles triangle = 36°

Thus, angles of isosceles triangle are 36°, 72° and 72°.
