Let length and breadth of rectangle be l and b respectively
So original perimeter = 2(l+b)
Original area = l×b
Resulting Perimeter = 2(2l +2b) = 4(l+b)
Resulting area = 2l ×2b
Ratio between :
1) perimeter of original and resulting rectangle = 2/4 =1:2
2) area of original and resulting rectangle = 1/4 =1:4
