each side of a rhombus is 13 cm and one of its diagonal is 10 cm.Find the length of its other diagonal and the area of the rhombus

⭐Let ABCD be a Rhombus with AB=BC=CD=AD=13 cm.

Now given that Diagonal AC =10 cm

Then OC = OA = 5 cm .

Now Apply Pythagoras theorem in ∆ AOD ,

We have ,

13^2 = 5^2 + OD^2

169 - 25 = OD^2

OD^2 = 144

OD = 12 cm

Diagonal = 24 cm


⭐Area of Rhombus = 1/2 × 24 × 10

= 120 cm^2 .
