Hey there!

Answer:

Area = 1536 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Side of rhombus = 40 cm

One Diagonal of rhombus = 48 cm

OB = 1/2 * BD

OB = 1/2 * 48

OB = 24 cm

Now,

In ΔOAB,

OA = √AB² - OB²    (by Pythagoras Theorem.)

OA =  √(40)² - (24)² = √1600 - 576 = √1024 = 32 cm

Now, AC = 2 * OA = 32 × 2 = 64  cm

Area = 1/2 *Product of diagonals

Area = 1/2 * 48 * 64

Area = 1536 cm²

Hope It Helps You!
