Each side of a square field measures 21 m. Adjacent to the field, there is a rectangular field having it's sides in the ratio 4:3. If the perimeter of both the fields are equal, find the dimensions of the rectangular field.​

since side of rectangle are in ratio of 4:3 take length as 4x and breadth as 3x

so according to question

2(4x+3x)=4×21(side of sqaure is given 21m)

4x+3x =84/2 =42

7x =42

x=42/7 =6

x=6

so length of rectangle is 4x= 4×6 =24m
