Each side of a square tile is 60 cm.How many tiles will be required to cover the floor of a hall with length is 50m and breadth is 36m.

area of each square tile = s^2
= 60^2
= 3600cm^2
= 3.6m^2



area of the hall
= 50*36 m^2
= 1800 m^2


tiles required = 1800/3.6
= 500 tiles
