i am doing 2 one first:-

(ii) let the triangle be ABC such that AD is perpendicular on BC (height)

as we know that a height of a eqi. triangle divides its base in two equal parts such that BD = DC = 4 cm

so ATP,

AD^2 + DC^2 = AC^2                                          (Pythagoras theorem)

AD^2 +  4^2 = 8^2

AD^2 + 16 = 64

AD^2 = 64-16  = 48

AD = root48 =  6.93 cm

(i) area of the eqi. triangle = bh/2 = 8 * 6.93/2

= 27.72 cm^2
