Question:-

  • Each side of an isosceles triangle is 15 cm and perimeter of the triangle is 50 cm. Find the  third side.

To find:-

  • The  third side.

Given:-

  • Each side of an isosceles triangle = 15 cm
  • Perimeter of the triangle = 50 cm.

Solution:-

Let,

   The triangle be ΔABC

⇒ AB=CA=15 cm

⇒Perimeter of the triangle ΔABC = 50 cm

⇒AB + BC + CA = 50

⇒15 +BC +15 = 50

⇒BC + 30 = 50

⇒BC = 50 - 30

⇒BC = 20 cm

Therefore , the third side is 20 cm.

Answer:-

  • Hence, the answer is 20 cm.
