Eardrum is a part of the Hearing organ.

Eardrum is a vital part of the ear, sound waves passes through the canal and strikes the eardrum.

Eardrum is a flap of skin very thin and is stretched like a drum tight. When the sound waves strike the eardrum it vibrates. The tiny bones in the middle ear move when the vibrations reach them. Eardrum is also known as tympanic membrane.
