early in the morning wooden chair out in the garden will not be that cool when compared to metal chair. why

This is due to the fact that metals have higher coefficient of temperature,and lower value of heat capacity(C).
Where as wooden chai has lower coefficient of temperature and higher value of heat capacity(C)

Higher the value of C more is the energy required to rise or decrease the temperature,as in case of wooden chair.

Lower the value of C,even for a small change in the temperature of the surrounding,the temperature of the object increase or decrease.i.e. Only a small energy is required to heat or cool the temperature of the object. As in the case of metal chair a small energy to cool is given by the surounding,and the metal since haiving lower value of heat capacity, cools down more compared to that of wooden chair.
