“Earth is flat”. Justify the statement

Earth is NOT flat. Many sailors in the ancient and medieval period have already seen how the spherical rotation of the world works. Starting from point A, we can traverse through the Pacific and then back to point A. If Earth was flat, then ships, cruises and planes would have to move at a 90° cut which means they will fall off the horizon.
Earth isn't flat, it's just a theory laid up bt some people .
