Life is possible on Earth due to some special conditions, that is, presece of water, oxygen, minerals in soils and large amount of energy from the sun. Spinning or rotation of the earth around it's axis causes day and night. Revolution of the earth around sun causes change in weather.
Earth also have plenty of water and an oxygen rich atmosphere which is necessary for life.
