Answer: it is because as we know India earlier used to be a part of antarctican continent and later joined with asian plate due to few factors like eathquakes so because of this collision himalayas the folded mountains are formed which made the present states like J&K, uttarakhand , himachal pradesh to suffer of land disasters and hope you got the answer
