It is obvious that our childhood memories are not accidental. When you are a child every scent, every sound, every move, every toy, the first day of school, the first kiss, the first step. Everything together makes what is the personality of a man. All these are pieces of one whole entity. My childhood was filled with memories filled with emotion and meaning. My parents seemed more emotional than I could have imagined. I was told that I was hit by a large piece of metal, most likely the edge of a stair, and passed out on contact. The drive to the hospital was quick and halfway there we got a police escort to speed up the process. I guess the school was taking no chances of getting blamed. Once we reached the hospital I was put in a bed and strapped down heavily. I was given a dinosaur toy to squeeze if I felt any pressure and I still have it to this day. In all I got 20 stitches on the inside and 20 on the outside, and the scar is still visible. But the part of this story that truly left its mark on my life is the fact that those lawyers reacted so quickly without anybody telling them about the incident. It stunned me for years as to how they found out about my condition and why they wanted to talk to my parents. I know see that they have numerous sources were mainly looking in their own interest. For weeks after my surgery, my family got dozens of phone calls begging for us to sue the school, but my parents kept refusing. Since this experience, I have always wanted to be a lawyer. I see this profession as a way to help the community while also continuously challenging myself and making a positive impact on the world we live in. If I had a time machine, I probably would not stop myself from falling that day, because it is that scar that serves as a constant reminder of a goal that I someday
