Have you ever imagined what makes a person turn into a thief? Well, such questions never have any kind of definitive answers. Human beings are always meant to be the product of their familial, social and economic circumstances. Another very important aspect of human nature is that no human being is either completely bad or completely good.
Good and evil are the sides of the same coin. The nature of beings is a mixture of these two values and that is why, it is the grey shade which defines us. However, when it comes to judging someone, we are always sceptical of each and every individual around us.
We have our preconceived notions about everyone before knowing about the actual circumstances. It is quite evident that we have our viewpoints reserved for people of different categories depending upon the kind of background they belong to. Social status plays a very important role in order to sustain in the society. The kind of hierarchies which the society has set for us has got internalized in our mindsets that we cannot do away with it even if wish to.
If we talk about the position of a thief in the society, the immediate thought that comes in our mind is that of contempt and dislike. Even without knowing the exact reasons of the theft, we tend to reach on various kinds of conclusions that are negatively diverted.
This kind of approach that we have as inhabitants of the society is basically due to the manner in which we have been wired. However, the ideal way to deal with such situations is to be well informed about the background of the person who involves himself/herself in such activities.
Usually, people belonging to lower strata of the society who do not get enough facilities to spend their lives. Also, the lack of amenities and rights marginalize them to the extent of making them social rebels.
A lot of sufferings and endurance is involved making an individual take the support of illegal and unwanted pathways as well as ways and means.
There is a feeling of a kind of disgust towards the society as it is the same society which has always suppressed such people. Poverty is one of the major reasons behind turning people into rebels through unwanted practices.
Apart from the poverty factor, sometimes due to corruption and disparities regarding certain rights, people are implored to take recluse in such activities in order to evade the respective feelings of existential crisis in such people.
However, one thing to be noted and that should be kept in mind is that such people are sharp-minded and have their respective strategies. This can be understood through the bollywood film series of Dhoom film. All the parts of the concerned film are based on the lives of a thief.
Be it Hritik Roshan’s role or Amir Khan’s role, the essence of all the stories lies in the lives and strategies of a thief. All of the protagonists have a certain trajectory which makes them thieves. If we take the example of Amir Khan’s story in particular then he was wronged in his childhood and his father was shot dead for being an honest and humble man.
Honesty, righteousness and values are not entertained in the world wherein corruption is at its peak. However, injustice affects both mind and heart to the extent of revenge. The people who are wronged make it their resolution to avenge all the disparities that victims have to face.
This is what has been shown in this film, the struggle of such people and how they are too intelligent to be caught. Catching such thieves required skilled minds. The way they are chased makes the film highly interesting. The police have to be as precise as such thieves are.
Catching a thief also entails a lot of acumen. The concerned film showcases the whole process of what it takes to chase and catch a thief who has been wronged for years and is now ready to avenge his trials and tribulations. No wonder there is a level of adventure involved in the process.
Once, there was a thief who was caught by the police for multiple thefts. However, once in a while he was a great man full of values and honesty. The reason why he turned into a thief had a special reason behind it. There was a man who had killed his family just because he was an honest man and he did not accept bribery.
That is why; he had no inhibitions and fear left in him. The only purpose of his life was to avenge the loss of his family, his sole priceless possession.
After his statement, the police were highly conceived that he entered into theft with a purpose. However, crime has no moral obligations attached to it. If crime has taken place, the punishment follows by default. And the man was well aware of this fact.
The ways of the world are too difficult to understand within the shades of black and white as well as right and wrong. There is always good in the evil and evil in the good. A thief is not always a thief who has bad intentions of robbing somebody.
