Everybody demands and expects a lot from their leaders. The main job of monitor is to maintain discipline in the absence of the teacher. Many boys quarrel and make mischief in the teacher. Many boys quarrel and make mischief in the class room. I shall try to control the class. I shall keep the teacher informed about naughty boys. If anything happens against the interests of the school, it will be reported to the Principal, Discipline cannot be maintained only by force. If requires all the qualities of a good student. So I shall try to be an ideal student. An idle and dishonest monitor can never be obeyed and respected. I shall set an example in punctuality and regularity for others to follow. Thus I shall be very helpful to my teacher.
I shall look upon it not as an extra burden but a pleasure and honor. I shall discharge my duties honestly and cheerfully.
