Hello!

I am giving you an exemplary essay. I would suggest you to use up some of my ideas and elaborate the essay. Just take my essay as an example. You can reuse it any time.

What will I do to make India clean?

India, a huge diverse country is currently being known for it's garbage around the world. This is what Indians should react upon, instead of small things that don't even matter. Cleanliness is next to godliness, and thus, the habit of cleaning must be spread. However, when it comes to the question on 'What will I do'?, I have a great answer.

India has a black spot on it with the name garbage. Thus, to remove this garbage, I would stand up and take up an initiative on cleaning our country. I would be happy, if I am considered as a role model or an example, on who helped in cleaning our surroundings.

We all dispose on the roads. I would never litter on roads so that they remain clean. I would also start with my neighbors to follow these green footsteps, and then it would be spread to the colony, the city and finally the country! Not only this, while throwing garbage in dustbins it must be sorted out into bio-degradable and non-biodegradable. Bio-degradable wastes can be broken down but, non-biodegradable wastes an be recycled.

Reduce, reuse and recycle would be my magic mantra. Firstly, I would reduce the amount of use of plastic and I would also never throw away plastic bottles and boxes. I would store things in those. Also, if I do not need some non-degradable material, I would use my creativity and transform it!

Just like how burning garbage produces gas emissions, even vehicles produce these emissions that harm our society. Thus, vehicles must be given to service at least twice in an year.  Also, using public transport such as buses or carpoolwould be great, which I would surely do. I will also use my bi-cycle to go near short distances instead of cars.

We see, We Blame; But we need to be the change we want to see and raise our voice, make a change and change the game. Thus, I would encourage my friends and relatives to follow these simple methods. These methods will surely bring a change in the cleanliness of our country, if practiced on a large scale.

When I see clean foreign cities and countryside in movies or on YouTube and I wonder how these places are so beautiful, neat and clean? Snowy Switzerland mountains, balconies full of flowers in Italy and Australia’s sunny and sandy beaches mesmerize us with its beauty and cleanliness. We also have such amazing travel destinations, historic monuments, heritage sites and majestic forts in India but why they don’t look like their foreigns counterparts?

Keeping the country clean is not the job of a government only, yes they are big stakeholders to make infrastructure available but it’s the people who should seek cleanliness. That is the basic issue with us. Rather than blaming the government and other people I chose to learn one thing from the father of our nation…

You must be the change you wish to see in the world. – Mahatma Gandhi

If I want to see my country clean, I need to change. I cannot expect change from others if I don’t change. Here are few little things I will do to make and keep my India clean.

I will separate the dry and wet garbage at home and put it in designated garbage bins only. I will not throw it on the road or from the window and I will try to pursue my family members to do so. I will also urge society chairman to make it a mandatory rule in our society.

I will not litter on road and public places. I will keep chocolate or candy wrapper in my pocket and then put in a garbage bin.

I use social media apps, my phone is full of it. I update my DP and post fun photos regularly. Now I will try to use these mediums to spread a message of cleanliness too.

I, alone cannot make complete India clean but like me, if millions of youth of the nation take a pledge to change themselves no one can stop us to be the cleanest country in the world. Future of the nation is on our hands. I close my eyes and imagine how it would be, and it feels like heaven. Let us join the hands and make a small change in us to achieve this big dream.
