helen's father Arthur Keller was a very good man he was actually a man of wit and intelligence he loved his daughter and wanted to give him a world in where she can see and hear it is not confirmed about of his birth date in the novel but Helen says that it's because of her father for sleep that she was able to see a world beyond the eyes and hear the sound that are invisible to our ears his father was very fond of guests never he came home without bringing a guest he was also a merry man healed believe and just hoping and praying to God he was a man of practice and this is shown and his willpower and determination to teach his deaf and blind daughter he give every effort so that Helen can be educated and that's the reason which makes him search
